When we started our company, Assurity Technologies, in 2004, my business partner and I had a vision for a software product with an immediate market opportunity. When considering our options for development, we decided to outsource development principally because the cost of onshore development was prohibitive. Selecting a partner was the next challenge. Using Google as our research tool, we identified several firms ranging in size, all located in India. We selected Clarion Technologies principally on personalities. We trusted the management team, we liked their methodology, and we felt their expertise would lend value to our business beyond the code they produced.Clarion has exceeded all of our expectations.

We’ve been working with Clarion now for over two years. They’ve seen us grow from a start-up consisting of two people, to the successful launch of our product, through to the acquisition of our company by a larger publicly traded organization. In just over two years, our product is now used by over 30 large multinational companies to manage compliance requirements around the account reconciliation function, providing the proof required to support the executive attestation requirement under Sarbanes-Oxley.

The purpose of this note to let you how happy Vacation Planners has been with the absolutely great work Clarion has done for our company. Clarion has given us excellent support and has made us think of things and go into markets we would have never thought of entering in the past.

Our company is a small Property Management company on the island of Culebra, Puerto Rico. We own, operate, and rent on commission, hotels, guesthouses, apartments, condominiums, and houses. In the past we always thought of our company as simply picking up more properties to rent and this was how we were going to expand and grow our business. However, since working with Clarion we see global opportunities beyond what we could have ever imagined in the past We now believe that we can transition from a small property management company on a small island in the Caribbean to a global Internet company serving the property management needs of guesthouses, hotels, and property management companies around the world. As we worked with Clarion technologies the support, quality of service, and technical competence of Clarion has been nothing short of excellent. There are many areas where Clarion excels. Two specific examples of where Clarion excels that we believe are important to Clarion’s business follow.

1.Technical Competence: Through our work with Clarion we have worked with a number of different Developers, Programmers, and Managers within Clarion. We must unequivocally say that every person we worked with at Clarion is extremely technically competent, responsive, and has given us excellent support. Today, if Clarion ever informs us they would like to move our work to another Developer we have no worries whatsoever. We know that we will be working with a very competent person.

2.Responsiveness to Requests/Needs: Whenever we request work from Clarion, the work is done almost immediately. Due to time zone constraints we sometimes can not work directly with Clarion every day. However, we know we can send Clarion an E-Mail with a critical item when we leave the office at night and when we arrive the next day the work will be done and ready for review. Clarion’s responsiveness is excellent.

In summary, Vacation Planners is extremely happy with Clarion Technologies and all the work Clarion has done for us. We are very happy customers.

"We have been working with Clarion for several months now, and are quite pleased with their work. They are acting as our out-sourced product development team, and we like to believe that they are an integral part of our company. They are highly competent, courteous, and responsive to our

Initially, we utilized Microsoft Powerpoint for a storyboard of the application. This worked very well for the initial screen designs to make sure everyone was on the same page. We divided up the screens for each developer, and after awhile, we had each developer working in the other developers' space. We also shared the same development tools required for our SQL server environment.

Clarion assigns a part-time project manager, part-time UI person, and part-time QA person to our project. This has worked out well in that we received these individual skill sets as part of our developer fee, without having to pay separately for full-time people for each one.

We are counting on this product development team to meet our long term needs as well. As we add new customers, there will be new functionality and new challenges. We highly recommend this group for their professionalism and responsiveness."
